ldhair's matte proof Lincoln, Boiler78's Morgan Half pattern all the colorful Franklins, Morgans, and others. I also like Relayer's proof nickel. A lot.
Well, it isn't mine (belongs to cacheman, until he sells it to me but this is the most beautiful coin I've ever seen:

Hardly anyone posts these and I like this coin because of its history. For those of you who know the history then I don't have to tell you what is smeared all over the coin.
You'll probably call me cheezy, but my favorite coin isn't anything fancy:
This was one of the first coins I purchased as a kid from a dealer who closed up shop long ago. At the time, I was just browsing the store and he showed me this coin. As he was showing it to me, he realized that he had missed the O mint mark. He sold it to me for the 1845 price anyway. For a kid on a budget, this coin was a big win! Been in my collection ever since, and it's one of the coins I consider core to my collection...
New purchase today. 1854-O $2.50 NGC MS-62. Anybody have any tips in scanning these microcoins? I cannot seem to get the fields to show the luster the coin actually has.
The longer I live the more convincing proofs I see of this truth, that God governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without His notice is it possible for an empire to rise without His aid? Benjamin Franklin
