help me out here guys/gals

i need a ref check on him...he is telling me he has a jordan rc PSA 10 he will trade me for my basketball collection..wants me to send first...won't take half now and half later..i was holding him off for a few months but he has found me and wants to know if i still want to do the deal..need your input..thanks

    If it sounds to good to be true it probably is.You know a MJ Gem Mint Books for $14,000.00 is your basketball collection valued at more than that?.If not he's probably trying to scam youimage

    I haven't traded with him before. Nor have I heard as him being a Bad Trader. Do you know his address? HE has not dealt on eBay since around 5/20/02. Let us know any other info you have.

    he has seen a complete list of what is in the collection...he wants everything but won't give me much info to go on as far as ref's go...and wants me to send first...im trying to get him to send first but no way..other thing i have is his e-mail...he sent me a scan of the card...e-mail, Lostnemisis1@aol.com

    Does he live within driving distance? Maybe suggest on meeting to do the transaction.
    For something as big as a deal as that, I would drive a way to do it.

    Get him to prove its his card. Get him to scan the front back and the front again but right above the michael jordan name make him right his Sign his name on a peace of papper or write his email addy down on the paper on the card.

    Also it wont matter who sends first on this big of a deal. YOu just insured it for 10,000.00 the Post Office will kill him rather then pay you the 10,000

    He could have gotten the scan off ebay.

    Make him do something like scan the card sideways with a piece of ripped notebook paper that says bad monkey -> vittleboy in blue ink. Click *here* for more details.

    I would avoid the deal. Everything sounds too fishy. I also agree that it would be in your best interest to meet somewhere if driving distance is possible. Best of Luck, Bob.

    he won't answer my e-mails now since i asked him to rescan card with his name by it..he has been bugging me for a few months now to do this trade, thanks to all for your help. image

    Don't trade with him he claim's to have a card shop in South Florida.I had a friend check the location and guess what ?????

    No card shop !!!!!!!

    He offered me that card a few month's ago sent me a scan also......

    Made me think real hard so that's why I check him out .......

    I think it's the reprint rc that he is tring to pass off as the real rc but that's just me .....
