remember that Shaq was hurt last season.. he only played at 60% of his strenght.. he'll demolish the Kings this season.. and I heard that Kobe gained some muscles.. should be interesting to see

Kobe didnt gain no muscle. He was at the World Series and they had the camera on him like half the game. HE LOOKS THE SAME!!!

I guess I have to give them some credit for not just blindly picking the Lakers again, it's the first major sports publication I've seen not pick them over the past two years. I don't like the call of Nets over Hornets though.

Lars, if it were NBA Jam, and not the NBA, I could consider McGrady and Hill in the east. But with that frontcourt? No way.

no way the kings will make the finals this year. They had their chance last year and blew it. Lakers vs. spurs in the west and whoever wins will easily beat the east again.

If Bibby comes back strong and Webber avoids legal trouble then I'd expect the Kings.

SI is notoriously known for picking wrong, I'm hoping they are right about the Kings this year.
