Very cool night. Payne and Melvin held a fan forum where we could come for free and get free food and sit there while they answered questions that the fans submitted. And unlike Wendy Selig and Dean Taylor, they actually answered questions directly and truthfully, they didn't tiptoe around it. Not to mention Wendy would have never held something like this. She could only respond to people through pre-made letters and through internet questions that were submitted from made up people. But anyways after this was over people were allowed to walk on the field and sit in the dugouts and watch the Angel/Giant game ont he huge color scoreboard. Not only that, but Payne and Melvin were signing autographs and taking questions personally. I got his auto on a free AS game Program they handed out (I got the Sexson one, OH YEA!) and asked him a couple questions. He agreed with me on both issues and so did most of the fans. This was a great idea by the new management. Maybe we finally have some competant people in there.
