Anybody going to the big show today in Chantilly, VA?

Hey,

Just wondering if anyone was going to this show running all weekend in Chantilly, VA. 225+ tables and a nice list of autograph guests. I plan on heading over there in an hour or two. Let me know.....

How much is Jim Brown charging?
  • Auto,

    Jim Brown (12-2pm)
    HOF 1971; NFL ROY 1957; NFL MVP 1958 & 65; 9 straight Pro-Bowls
    Flats $95
    Mini-helmets $120
    Footballs & Jerseys & F/S Helmets $140

I got Jim Brown 3-4 years ago and it was much cheaper. Sweet old style Cleveland full-size helmet with a nice big sig. I have to say that he is a real a**hole in person though. Didn't he just get out of jail like a month ago?

Yep because he refused to plead guilty to a lesser charge for something he felt he was innocent of.. or something like that.
  • Auto,

Yeah....I think that was story. He has been in and out of trouble for years though for various offenses including domestic violence. I respect him as a football player (maybe the greatest player ever)....but as a person I think that he has some problems....

Everyone has problems. Athletes' problems are just put under a microscope.
  • pick up a tmac flair sweet shot (last years) if you see one... ok?
  • Auto,

I completely agree with you, athletes do often get an unfair amount of exposure for their problems. Two things though - 1. They get paid outrageous amounts of money to play a sport so I don't think they have much room for complaint and 2. I am married and I just don't think that there is any excuse for hitting or pushing your wife. Period.
