Is there a way to have certain items auctions e-mailed to you (like a watch list)? PLMK how this is done.

If you just put the items that you want on your watch list ebay sends you a daily watch list update.

ok, but I'm asking.....how do you do that? I went under favorites under my ebay, and it said to type in a search and add add to searches, but I never saw a button to add the searches.

look at the auction item and you'll see a selection that says item to watch ( it's by the autioneers name) it can be looked at under the "My Ebay" selection

Dequeers, shut the hell up. Everyone else, I know how to watch an individual auction that I check out, but I was wondering if there was a way to have them e-mail you the auctions that fit a certain description (like Yahoo does).

Yep. do a search, then click on "save this search" which should be a link to the right. Check the search you want to be e-mailed to you if something is posted.

Only 2 searches at a time. You can save more than that, but it will only e-mail 2 of the searches to you.

doesn't have a link to the right to save search. Would it make a difference whether I'm using IE or Netscape? Which one do you use?

You didn't follow instructions.. I said: "Yep. do a search, then click on "save this search" which should be a link to the right. Check the search you want to be e-mailed to you if something is posted."


Did you:

Step 1: Do a search
Step 2: Click "Save this search" which will be to the right.
Step 3: Check the search you want to be e-mailed to you.

If you complete these 3 steps in order correctly, you will have completed the task.

hehe.. had to break it down in 3rd grade terms. Only 3 steps. Not hard to figure out.
