Price disparity?

Seems beckett pricing is incorrect. A #/50 in the same set is $80 yet this #/40 is priced at $15. I took the BIN price at $10 because i've seen so many seemingly underpriced cards slip away through the BIN. Am i missing something (besides brain cells).

Thanks, mike

what is the #/50? is it a jersey, or what?
  • possibly the #/50 is a game used, and #/40 is just a regular numbered card

    hope this helps!

  • Beckett screws up all the time.

I don't have a beckett with me now but i think the #/50 is a jersey. Still seems a #/40 wouldn't be so much less than the #/50 card. The #/50 shows the actual price where as the #/40 just shows a multiplier.

    Thanks for your responses, mike

  • Actually I think the #'d/50 and #'d/40 book the same heres the breakdown from Beckett on that set.

    2001'02 Focus Numbers
    Stars #/30 25 X's Hi
    Stars #/40 20 X's Hi
    Stars #/50 20 X's Hi

Giving Grant Hill the benefit of the doubt and putting him in the unlisted stars categorie that would make his common book 0.75 plus the multiplier that makes #'d/40 and /50 both book $15
