I couldnt be more happy. I never liked Cora from day 1. He always seemed to me to be so condescending and arrogant. good riddance.

Irony is firing the manager after a 17-1 win. Lol

Not much is going to change, its still the same roster. The starting pitching should improve a bit and come back more to the norm but that was going to happen anyways. It also doesnt do anything to address the fact that its a bad lineup without much power and they should have traded Duran one of the last two years when his value was at the highest it would ever get

I see the biggest Red Sox problem being the upper management and that will not change unless attendance drops as its all about the profit coming in every day.

Well you might get your wish in the next year or two. Cleaning house would indicate that the front office is on the off seat. Firing coaches is basically the last move a GM has to buy himself some more time

The biggest problem is John Henry, he doesn't care enough about the team to green light management to spend money

That's the only way to compete and if he isn't interested in doing that he should sell It to another billionaire who is looking for a project

But where would he get his money for real estate, hockey teams, racing teams and soccer teams if he sold?

Bunch of former Red Sox players and some current are wondering why all the coaches got fired but Breslow who is generally very disliked by the players is still around. One player texted a reporter its like crapping your pants and changing your shirt

Well maybe the shirt got some crap on it too as Tracy has them only 2 games out of a wild card spot!

3 games in a row. it is an official win streak!!

Definitely too early for playoff talk with over 100 games left, but everyone in the AL is knocking on the wild card door. Every team in the AL besides the Yankees and Tampa going into today were .500 or under

Correas out for the year now and the Astros were just bad, Skubal is going to miss a lot of time with elbow surgery for the Tigers, Cole is throwing temper tantrums trowing at guys in single A because hes getting shelled in his rehab starts.

I wouldnt count anyone out in the AL this year for a playoff spot, but I also wouldnt call a wild card an accomplishment
