I have a 1999 Georgia Quarter that has a raised lip on the front and the ridge is smooth.

Also. the quarter is thicker than other Georgia Quarters. is this an error coin?

    I have a 1965 Washington quarter that is on a copper clad the weight of the quarter is 5.60 g. I would like to see if someone has information about this coin

    @Trentlee

    Please do not make up your own numismatic terms such as "copper clad". That is silly.

    There is a type of error known as "missing clad layer" which looks similar to your coin. However, your coin looks too well struck to have two missing clad layers, and the weight is also too high, so perhaps there has been some manipulation of the coin and/or the photo to make it look that way.

    Also start your own post instead of piggybacking on someone else’s.
    We now have two coins on the same post that just adds to confusion.

    Yes, it's a quarter that someone dug out of the ground, worth 25c.
