Coin dealers/buyers near Salt Lake City

Anyone have any recommendations for reputable coin dealers in the Salt Lake City Utah area?

I have a post in the US coin forum detailing what I’m trying to do.
I will be in the Salt Lake City area Wednesday, Thursday and possibly Friday.

Thanks for any input.

You will likely get much more traction on this thread if you start it in the US Coin Forum, which is the forum you started your other thread. Good luck!

I think what the other folks was saying was that if you were offering the coins for sale here that you should start the thread on the BST (this forum). They were not telling you to start this topic in this forum.

I'd try Robert Campbell who has a very strong reputation: https://allaboutcoins.com/about-us-1

Why on BST? This is for listing coins that are for sale, not asking for dealer recommendations.

  • In a nutshell, a forum member with 4.179 posts suggested I post here. And being new here, and not familiar with proper protocols on this forum I trusted that persons opinion.
Forgive me for my lack of knowledge about where to post, if I hurt your sensibilities.

This doesn't hurt anyone's sensibilities, but you are making this more difficult on yourself than it needs to be. The post you are referencing from "a forum member with 4,179 posts" was a suggestion that if you wanted to sell these coins on the PCGS boards to use the BST forum. It was not a post telling you to ask for advice on the BST forum.

Your best course of action, as I have told you already yesterday, is to start a new thread on the US Coin forum. That is the forum where you started your first thread. If you start it on that forum you are likely to get more recommendations than the single one you received by placing this discussion here.
