I think the person who sent you the message is letting you know they are just messaging you.
Or, it might be that they sent the message then dropped out of the conversation, so it's just you left in the message exchange.
Either way, I've gotten those before.
I think it's just a glitch in the message system.
I have several that show that way.
JBK is correct, the other member you were sending PM's to has dropped out of the conversation, that is all it means.

I sent you a test message and then dropped out of the conversation.
