I was looking through ebay one night and saw this listed on a BIN for 15 bucks plus S&H. From what I researched it is the small planchet type going by the diameter and weight. Not sure which variety this one is but this site says there are more than 120! BTW, is this considered a Farthing?

They were called farthings in the past, but more recent writings often have them all listed as halfpennies, and differentiated by small or large.

Is there no brass splasher at the crown, or does it just not show in the picture?

You might have to soak it for close to a year as now looking on my desktop it might be pretty encrusted on the surface. I found some real tiny Rubbermaid type bowls with a lid for easter egg dye that work really well for long term mineral oil conservation. Once done you just gently fold it into napkins squeezing with your fingertips to degrease and then leave it wrapped in a final napkin for another month to absorb any oil left on the surfaces. All in all, even holed in low grade with verdigris this is very wholesome for the type as even graded AU's are somewhat problematic and market acceptability comes into play. Congrats as snagging this at what you paid for sure qualifies for a "You Suck" award! :)

Oh right!! My first You Suck award!! Thank you.🙂

Yeah… this is legit on par if not better than my 3¢ 1909-S VDB. What a rip.
