Would Meguires PlastX remove most of these smudges and scratches? Also would CAC grade this coin?

I am considering purchasing this coin. But there is a large scratch on the reverse at Five Cents obscuring the word Five. Also on the obverse rim at 6 o’clock to the right of the date and 10 o’clock on rim there are issues. Would CAC grade this coin in this holder? Any collectors with experience using this product, know what improvements I can reasonably expect. Thanks for your input.

Yes it will remove some, not sure if a few are too deep to fully remove or not.
My Collection of Old Holders
Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
I use it frequently on slabs I acquire. It can be hit/miss. Doesn't hurt to try.
If the plastix does not work right away you can try magic eraser or 1200 grit sandpaper first, then use the plastix.
Yes, CAC will have no problem assessing the coin. And yes, from what I can see, a good plastic polish like PlastX will likely remove it entirely.
Lance.
Nice 'before' pictures.... If you do use the Meguires, please post the 'after' pictures so people can learn about the process. Cheers, RickO
