1914-D Lincoln Cent 'altered 44-D' (help get these listings pulled)

UPDATED (BUMPED) Bidding for this one is up to $42.00 I'm going out on a limb and saying the bidders on this are not planning on paying that kind of money to add this phony to there collection, it certainly has to do with thoughts of profit. The alteration job on this on is very poor as well.

This seller is splitting hairs with this one.
They state it as having a "Modified Date".
It also appears to have had the designers initials tooled off.
My thinking is that these coins done this way only had one purpose, to be passed off as genuine.
No, not this seller, but the ones before them and then the ones after them and at a Buy it now price of nearly $80.00 it appears someone may know that?
