Should i add paranoia to the list?

I always thought for someone like me, that CAC fees are a bargain

I use the walk through service so round trip insurance on $40,000 + boxes are not an issue.

CAc grades my coins (higher vs lower end for the grade) which gives me a better idea on how to price any for sale.

Now I'm thinking i also have a counterfeit check on the coins. Is this last service nothing more than paranoia on my part?

On my last trip I would have settled for 0 beans as long as all the slabs came back as "real untouched slabs".

If they are already slabbed, I would not worry about it. So, yes, probably a touch of paranoia... but no harm. Cheers, RickO

You cut to the heart of the matter.

The real question is.... Have any/many counterfeit coins been found in slabs?

Unfortunately yes, There are all kinds of different fake slabs with counterfeit coins in them - or correct labeled slabs with the wrong coin/counterfeit coins in them - posted every now and then. Especially on eBay, they seem to pop up all too often. Some are easy to spot, some even fool the experts.

"When they can't find anything wrong with you, they create it!"
