My good deed for the order
So I'm at the local flea market and I slid up to a scrum at a vendors table. They're all touchy feelying this 1876-s Trade dollar. I whip out my hard drive magnet...it's not magnetic. That move doesn't get any reaction. I whip out my digital scale, it weighs 18.6 grams. I comment that's not right. Vendor asks me how much off is it? I tell him 27.2 g would be nice. The scrum dissolves, I got it for a buck. Peace Roy

Why would you pay $1 for it?
I paid $3 for mine a long time ago. Lol

Pretty obvious fake.
Am I the only one that had to look up the word "scrum"?
Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.
Perry, just think Rugby.
Just to get it out of circulation. And I didn't have this fake in my collection. Peace Roy

Nice job, Roy.
Good job removing it from the market. It would have been for sale again in a few days on the same table.... Cheers, RickO
For a buck ... Nice pick-up.
Got mine for a few dollars years ago. So obvious a fake and people continue to buy them as real.
