1984 D

Ok here's another one. I believe there's doubling on this coin but I'm fairly sure it's MD but there's this spike sticking out of Lincoln's head
that shoots through the W in we. What do think that is? Sorry i think i posted some of those pics twice.

    No to the doubling. The spike you are seeing is a plating blister.

    ....Agree with snaps – it’s a very minor copper plating bubble or blister
