Can’t believe believe I’ve rifled off 20,000 posts. Thank you so much for putting up with me all these years and sharing your knowledge. Because off this site I’ve made many friends which is pretty amazing. Some I only know in cyber space and others who I’ve had the pleasure of meeting up with in the flesh. I look forward to the day we can actually meet up again in person.
Now for the contest. I bought my first coin in 2006ish. It was a classic commem. It really was an outlier for me. It was untoned. As some of you know I sold my commems in the past few years. All except my “first” one. I kept it for sentimental value.
So what was the the commem that got me started? That’s the contest
In case of multiple right guesses I’ll draw names from the ole hat.
The prize will be a DC 1964-D Peace dollar as pictured below.
I’ll end the contest on Weds at 3pm PST. Only one guess per person please.
