Just getting a handle on your view.
Me, if I see it, ...What do I say to the owner?

I'd consider it an S filled with verdigree.
No jmo
I'd call it a damaged cent that is worth one cent.
I would not consider that a S/D.
If you are referring to the lighter colored outline that resembles a 'D' that is southeast of the main mint mark.. and widely separated.... then I would have to say no. Looks to me like abrasion scuffs. Similar ones can be seen east of the main mint mark. Probably related to the corrosion on the coin.
Agree with the above. Just damage.
Furthermore, there is no '47 S/D Lincoln. I think there's an S/S RPM.
Lance.
Uh ... no.

Cool,
Thanks for the great responses.
I really enjoyed the rapid fire of all the posts.
Now , thats that.
Back to the voyage of the hunt.
Relying on this info, the only observation I could make is that looking for non-existent varieties is not a productive use of time.
Every random coin should not be scrutinized for every conceivable variety unless a variety is known to exist for that particular date/mm. JMHO.
That appears to be damage through handling.... Not a mint problem. Cheers, RickO
