That's a butt ugly coin! Wager there is a 3rd seller that owns the coin!
There are legit reasons for that to happen, as well as some not so legit.
APMEX uses stock photos. There is a disclaimer in the listing that says:
"Photos in this listing may or may not be stock photos. The photos are meant to be an indication of the product you will receive."
Some possibilities:
1) 2nd seller listing the coin with the knowledge/permission of the owner (1st seller).
2) 2nd seller listing the coin without owners knowledge (would have to sell for more than #1, and #2 buys it from #1 if #2 sells it).
3) 2nd seller actually owns it and APMEX never took down the stock photo of that specific coin that 2nd seller bought.
There's a "Contact seller" link on each listing. You could ask the sellers if you want to know.
@Kirk222 said: No two coins are identical IMO.
Based on numerous posts on this message board, this is not known to all.
Not a coin I would even consider....That being said, I am sure someone wants it... Multiple listings often ensure wider sales coverage.....Cheers, RickO
