5 Korona 1907 K.B., grade request.

Hi,

Browsing through auctions I have come across 1907 K.B. 5 Korona. It is a piece that I am looking to add to my collection. I would like to hear your opinion about the coin, and particulary its possible grade.

Here are the pics:

P.S. Does anybody know why it is so common for the Korona to have rim damage? PCGS and Heritage archives show that this particular coin fairly usually has the aformentioned problem.

    1) from image only 62-3 max.
    2) I see this with many of the 19-20th century Austria/Hungary coins where rim is uneven. Unclear as to why

Looks 63 to me. There are some hits here or there, hidden by the surfaces but generally uncirculated. The rims seem not to be damaged IMO but rather not well prepared and as struck rather than PMD.

The rims are very square on these, as well as other European coins of this era, unloke the slightly rounded ones found on a Morgan Dollar. So any edge contact is very noticeable.
