Has/does anyone ever look at Collective Coin website?

This very useful tool that allows record keeping of a collection with notes an pictures is being ruined by new posters posting pocket change for hundreds of thousands of dollars.
It's a real shame as it's a site that you can post pix of ANY slab ...or raw... coin and all the data you might need. It also has its own "For sale" tab.
A couple examples of what I would consider pure efforts to ruin a website.

Can't a mod start up the bam hammer and clean house?
I've never been on the site.
"If I say something in the woods and my wife isn't there to hear it.....am I still wrong?"
My Washington Quarter Registry set...in progress
Stacks Bowers bought the site from the original owner.
They could use it and offer it and have a stellar site but they don't.
I've written them but hear nothing back.
It's my main offsite records source for my heirs to see what ...they... will have or sell.

Seems like I remember it being announced (advertised) here a few years back, I took a quick glance at it back then but never did sign up or go back. I can use the registry here or ats to achieve the same goal so never did try it out.
My Collection of Old Holders
Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
It's a good place to keep photos of my collection and notations. Easy to copy images there into forum posts.
I signed up, used it a bit. Found it easier for me to track everything PCGS graded on the PCGS Registry. Raw coins I intend on keeping, inventoried on a spreadsheet and stored with reference # on them.
CC can be ANY slab. Or raw. Drag/drop pix. Private notes only visible to poster.
I, too have databases and a showcase here.
My only "interest" is the absolute simplicity and a great backup.
It makes me sad too.
With what they've done with it, you should be able to buy it back for 10 bucks.

@scubafuel are you still involved with the site in any way?
Agree you could try to buy to back for cheap.
The reason he sold it was that the bandwidth and storage costs were expensive, and he wanted to keep it free if I recall correctly. Stacks stepped up to the plate. I haven't really used the site in a long time, but I enjoyed it when scubafuel and his business partner ran it.
Wasn't this same post posted not so long ago?
This reminds me of an old SNL commercial for Bad Idea Jeans. "Well, I listed my six-figure coin collection on this website and..."
They wouldn't have to expand a damn thing. Just show a TINY responsibility to look at it occasionally and purge the obvious crap.
