It looks like machine 'tripling'... if there is such a thing... I checked the CPG and there is nothing listed for this anomaly... there is a DDO on the date...very slight though. Cheers, RickO
I would think if there is doubling on EPU you would see it on the dot before the E.
The top pic shows some slight doubling to the west.

From the pics it looks like it could be a ClassII/VI DDR. The sweeping uprights and extra thickness are part of the picture. I would check the outer design elements for similar sweeping/thickness/separation.
proofs are hard because on mirrors and reflections. I need serifs split.
