Diagnostics of 1880 Shield 5c Pf vs MS?

I have a VF 1880 5c. Are there any diagnostics that can help me determine if it is a circulated proof or a genuine MS coin?

    Any search on HA Archives will show you easy-to-understand images of the "island effect" on the reverse of all circulation strikes :) Go for a few high-grade exemplar images and it should be easily found on a VF
