I see the slight doubling
That's ejection/mechanical doubling.
VERY common on 1964-D Quarters.
I remember finding these when I was a
kid - we didn't know exactly what it was
at the time, but we knew it was a commen
effect.
Notice the 'flat' outline of the D on the left side -
classic ejection doubling.
