My grandfather gave this Wayte Raymond green Roosevelt dimes coin album to my grandmother for Christmas of 1953.

My grandmother had other hobbies and moved away from coins around 1955.
The album paper had something in it which colored the contact sides of the dimes to almost black.

I never thought to show the reverse of the branch mint coins with the P showing the obverse - that's a really neat way to display them instead of just all obverses.

I found one for DLH.
When I was working in the coin shops I did hate these albums. Have to destroy them to get the coins out.
Edited to add: and they did blacken the backs of silver coins in an unsightly manner.

I have not had the Green Albums... I like that - green being my favorite color - Next time I am in Wilmington, NC, I will visit that coin shop - he had mountains of albums, old and new, towards the back of the shop... I do not recall seeing green ones, however, he likely had some. Cheers, RickO
