I'm calling it a 66. I think the marks are very superficial and look worse in the images than in hand. The fields certainly look semi PL getting close to PL.

The correct answer is MS62... guess that's why it has a gold CAC. You guys have reinforced my decision to "overpay" for this haha. Thank you.
1 58, 1 62, 6 63, 25 64, 19 65, 3 66, 1 67.
Congrats to @JasonGaming for the only technically correct guess although I'd guess it's a 64 on resubmission.
Some would argue with that packaging that the "correct" grade is really 63 or 64...
There is far too much chatter and spotting on the cheek for it to ever be a 65. MS 62 was actually my first inclination but I was more liberal at 63, because of what others were saying. I think it would 63 today but not higher than that.

I tend to check the date and MM before guessing the grade. Shouldn't matter...but it sort of does.
64 shot 64+
Semi Prooflike look to it.
I think it's an old school 63, especially since it's in an ogh.

63 for me, I think it needs more luster to get a grade anything higher.
I'm at 63 also.
ms64 then...ms65 today...ms65 ANYDAY
MS64 possibly 65

looks mark free, and I am guessing prooflike luster.

Kind of a tough image/lighting to make a very good guess.
They tend to be hard on these but I think it gets MS 65. Maybe PL.
Whatever the grade, it sure looks hammered to me.

Choice gem, but they tend to be tougher on common dates.
I voted a 65 but forgot that it was in an OGH so I'm going to say a 64 in that holder

Wow, I suck at Morgan’s and thought I got my guess wrong, but oh well
Always buying nice toned coins! Searching for a low grade 1873 Arrows DDO Dime and 1842-O Small Date Quarter.
It looks like both PCGS and I blew this one..
I love those under graded coins in the old holders.
There is usually a good "reason" for the undergrades at the time, something they considered an issue.
i went with ms 64. it might have a shot at a 65 on a good day. jmo

Old green label 62 with a gold bean... Yes, it a 64 with a possible shot at 65

I actually thought 62.....before reading the results
I can see 63+ on that coin, which is what CAC says it is, minimum. I was going to say 63 today, with the tightness.
Wow... I was way off on that one.... well.. since it has a gold bean, maybe not too far off... but still I am surprised. Cheers, RickO
