On the back of the card it says no major or minor league experience. And is #'ed to /1000 like other rc's.

So, I take it as a RC.

Desheilds- Well, it must be a 1/1 because on the back it has no minor league or major league experience and is #'ed to /1000 like the other rookies....awesome... Also, I'am pretty sure the byrd is a rookie, I think that's why it has "rookie" on the front of the card.....but who knows these days.

Plus, there isn't a Mark Prior 2001 Showcase rc listed in the June 2002 baseball beckett.

its still a nice card hell its one of the top guys right now and its #ered to 1000 its like a second year card it will still book like 30-40

vittleboy...and you are never wrong.....so good of you to point out people mistakes .............vincesanity is primarily a basketball and football collector so he is used to a whole diffrent easy way of rc's being produced right before when the player has yet to play for the team....baseball rc's are hard to understand sometimes cut him the slack he deserves

I love gettin in the middle of things, im not trying to look like an ass here but vince was being a smart@$$ when Vttle and I were just trying to help him out, Prior has a 2001 Fleer premium rc or platinum or something like that, Fleer makes Flair correct? therfore it's not a rookie. We tried to explain it to him but he was being a d!ck, now that I look like an @$$ hole but it looks pretty obvious if you read all the messages and sorry to vince b/c the Byrd is a rookie, that was my bad.
