Traveling to Portugal

My wife and myself will be traveling to Portugal in February.

I was wondering how to go about buying some bulk European coinage to sort and look to sell in my ebay store.

I thought about markets and antique shops, but would likely be out of my circle of competence.

Any ideas and advice appreciated...

I think you are better off buying this kind of stuff in the US. Remember, you have to bring the coins back to the US and this stuff is usually very heavy. This type of bulk coins can usually be bought for $6/lb if bought in larger quantities.

There is a Portugese mint (I do not know if it is government or private) that strikes some remarkable medals. You might want to consider these, but as mentioned, you are talking about some serious weight.
