Mixed pound lots of world coins?

One of my young nephews has been developing an interest
in coins, and I'm doing what I can to encourage him. He's
ten years old.

We'll be catching up this summer at a family reunion, and I'd
like to take a big ol' bag of mixed world coins that we can
spread out on the table and explore together, with a world
map and a coin book or two.

It's been years since I bought a bag of world coins
to search that way. What are the best sources these days?
Is eBay a good place to go? They don't have to be fancy
or old coins --- I think he'll have fun no matter what they
are! And is there a typical "going rate" by the pound?

I would be happy to put together a lot for him, would include some fun stuff including an older piece or two, and would also add some locally found (SE GA) fossil shark teeth. Since I happen to have a lot of exonumia on hand lately, the lot would probably include a few US tokens as well.

I've kept in pretty good touch with my inner child- I started at age 10 myself- so I'd make it fun. image

For you and only you, let's say I'd do the whole lot for the only the cost of shipping a small USPS Flat Rate box. maybe we could round up to ten bucks total?

    PM if interested.

Good for you Lord M and a good price also. My local brick and mortor has three pound bags for $20. Unfortunately I have already searched through everything they have. Always on the lookout for bags of mixed foreign if anyone else has them to sell.

Coffeyce gets some sweet bulk lots! I'd take him up on that if I were you.

But as agreed, I'll be putting together a lot for your nephew this weekend.
