I just looked through the lots for the weekly world coin and ancient auction at Heritage. Seemed kind of thin. Just post CICF stuff that didn't fit into the big auction? No ancients either.

Agree.... I assume they need to build momentum on the consignment end following a hefty CICF catalog.

I hate when it says World & Ancients and I look and there isn't a single ancient coin

Yeah what a bunch of bananas! How did they not have one ancient? CICF hangover I guess.

Well about 2 weeks ago they had a nothing but ancients sale. With all the ancients they have had for sale over the last month I don't see much reason to complain.

I think they have been doing one completely ancient weekly auction per month. The other three are strictly world coins.

Oh, well I didn't realize that. A lot of times I glance at the auction and then forget it. I happened to have some extra $ and thought I would check it out to maybe pick up something rather than go to CSNS and walk around a room full of slab bed Morgans and $20 gold. Oh well
