I haven't had too much Japanese silver. I did get this one in a trade (and resold it not long afterwards), about a year or so ago.

The top one has only a single year's date - Showa 32 (1957).

Always have liked Japanese coins, but never pursued aggressively. Years ago I did pick up this interesting yen, year 29 with the gin countermark for overseas circulation. Probably harshly cleaned at some point, but big, cheap and interesting. What's not to like!
