Just what I look for in a special World Coin or Conder- High relief, high grade (AU?), alienness (a sense of strangeness, unfamiliarity), beautiful toning, scarcity (with Cosmicdebris this is almost a given).

This one has a pedigree to the Wayne Anderson Collection (Part II), Lot 698, that was auctioned 4/25/2000 by Davisson's Ltd. I obtained this from Jerry Bobbe several years ago who parted with it since I was so desirous to own this wonderful design. Anderson was the founder of the Conder Token's Collector Club and an avid collector of early U.S. copper.
If you ever come across this rare piece, look for rub on the nose to help determine condition. The artistry is marvelous to behold.
I'll bet there are a few board members who own tokens from the OP's wonderful collection.
