Gold Mickey would look fine on the mantle.

2 foot tall and 1500 oz of the precious stuff.

He was produced in 2001 to commemorate Walt Disney's 100th birthday.

Not mine as the mini mouse version would be more in my wheelhouse.

Believe that it sold at around melt in 2001 and 2006.

I will research it at a later time.

Heritage was showing it off at FUN in 2010 I think. Said it was the largest solid gold statue in existence.

I would have thought that this statue would be permently on display at one of The Disney Parks?

I can't believe that Disney sold it?

I'd have to test ot for being genuine by cutting the head off. Would that de-value it? image
To forgive is to free a prisoner, and to discover that prisoner was you.

Nope , cutting the head off of that is no different than smashing a diamond out of an engagement ring with a hammer. image

It would be a good item to take into Pawn Stars.

Rick would slowly shake his head side to side, say that gold isn't selling well and offer half of melt.
