Top Pop Bonus Problem?

I noticed a problem with certain registry sets with top pop coins that are no longer top pop, examples; Standing Liberty Quarter 1930 and 1930-S in MS67FH, both were tied for top pop
and now seem to have been surpassed by a single 1930 MS68FH and a single 1930-S MS67+FH. The issue is; the current and retired sets that were given bonus points for former top pops, have NOT had those points removed now that PCGS has graded higher examples that are the new top pops.
I understood that top pop bonus points were to be removed when they no longer applied.
It looks like PCGS has already started to correct this...
