    Like mas3387, I'm not at all against creating new sets, for example, the Palau Dollar Marine Life Protection (1992-present) registry set, because it combines the pastime of coin collecting with popular interests associated with Palau, or Marine Life Protection, and I'm sure that the many collectors of these sets are proud to display and share their sets on the PCGS registry.
    The display of these sets in the registry can greatly increase the exposure and credibility and desirability of such a collection, and increase the number of participants in the Palau Dollar coin registry, and just make collecting Palau Dollars much more fun.
    All great reasons to have a Palau Dollar Marine Life Protection Registry Set and to collect Palau Dollars.
    How about the combination of coin collecting and another American pastime like baseball? PCGS has these new fun-to-collect autographed baseball labels... Coins slabbed with a label that has the autograph of famous American baseball players. This is pretty cool too, maybe not Palau cool, but cool nonetheless.
    After we watch the Palau contigency of collectors flock to register their sets, perhaps we could consider the Hall Of Fame Baseball coin registry sets.

    Spent just a few minutes this morning going into the sets started in
    January / February.... Most have 0 participants... 7 months later...
    Many new collectors, I'm sure, can get started with a simple 2010 to
    date Lincoln Shield set...

    I'd like to see an Ethiopia Registry. Surprised it's not listed, considering all the other African countries listed.

    Interesting.

    Coin collecting is a hobby that knows no borders.

    For some countries that have seen instability during their existence I wonder if they have ever minted coins (as opposed to hiring an outside contractor); and if so whether there is any gap in time where no coins have been minted.

    For example, has Somalia ever minted coins?
