In this case, the "preparation" is thousands upon thousands of PCGS slabs from the 1970s (if not ten(s) of thousand(s)) and staying the course for the past roughly ten years despite a fair share of "failure" to go along with an occasional success.

The mid 1970 Jefferson nickels have had several PR70DCAMs made this year.

1973-S 6
1974-S 5
1975-S 6
1976-S 1

I believe Wondercoin made several of those.

Baron: I have made some of those this year. They are very difficult to locate in PR70DC condition though. For example, I think I am 0 for my last roughly 1,500 submissions on the 1973-S nickel! The 1976-S wasn't too much better
