Ok gang, here we go.

I have the pleasure of raffeling off not one, but TWO, beautiful 1909-VDB's in PCGS MS-65 RB. Both coins have been donated by forum members, The Penny Lady and Lkeigwin to help me raise funds for a true American hero. I will attach a link below. I thank you both for your generous donations.

The raffle will end on December 15th at 9:00 pm Arizona time. There are 2 coins to win. $5 via paypal gets you one ticket. You can buy as many as you wish, the more, the better!!!

You will also be entered in the main raffle for the Gibson guitar I donated, that raffle to be held March 7th at the Fiery Food convention in Alb, NM.

I am holding this raffle in order to get this true American hero and his wife funds to help them with Christmas. Please visit the site to read the story.

ONLY PCGS FORUM MEMBERS ARE ELIGIBLE TO WIN THE COINS.

Paypal must be done by 8 pm Monday Dec 15. The first name drawn will have the choice of the two coins. 2nd name drawn will receive the other coin.

I am overwhelmed with the quick and immediate response. The Hegr's are going to use this $$$ to try and have children. I have spoke with Shara, the wife of Sgt Hegr, they are so very grateful and very emotional that complete strangers are coming in to help them. The woman is solid as a rock and commited to her husband.

My sincere thank you goes out to all involved.

For the record, the person who built the site, the site host, myself, everyone involved is doing this free, zero pay for us. Zero administrative costs, zero overhead. 100% go to the family. You guys are amazing. From my heart, THANK YOU!

Unless you have a bonafide tax exempt 501(c) organization, having a raffle to fund a "cause" (no matter how worthy) is illegal and could get you and our host in trouble. If you are not a tax-exempt organization, this kind of activity is called gambling.

We are not a 501 or any other organization. Great, throw a sour bone in this.

I thought this up because I did not have enough room for guitar storage, thats how this started. You all know I am a hot sauce guy, and thought this would be better than just selling them. AMRC, I am not interested in all the paperwork or beuracacy. This ends in a cpl weeks for the coin drawing. Lets hope a swat team doesnt get us before then.

Current tally from forum members is 35 tickets / $170 :-) edit, make that $290 :-) As a whole we hit $600 tonight. You folks are runnin even with the hot sauce gang. My thanks are huge!!!!!!

Very nice coin! Lance says the coin's value is around $100.

Just sent you some PayPal for some tickets. Seems like a good cause as we really can't do enough to support our veterans and their families. My younger cousin was seriously wounded in an IED attack in Afghanistan a couple of years ago and the support he got from family, friends and his community made a huge difference for him and his family.

Of course, having a chance at a few pretty VDBs isn't too bad either
