Even though I am not a collector of these, I do agree that this is an excellent example of art that is unbelievable that only costs a 5C. These pieces caught my eye the very first time I saw them.

How 'bout a 1,700 year old Roman (Licinius I)? Great desert patina- and sharp- check out the pupil in his eye, the hairs in his wispy little beard, and the feathers on the peacock.
Cost me nineteen or twenty bucks.
And this even older guy cost me only fifteen or sixteen bucks, before I went and spent more than twice that entombing it in NGC plastic, just for the heck of it.
This found it's way into the shop. After 'freaking" out on the POP OUT for a few minutes, I attached one of the "Logo Loupes" to the other end. Don't want to show that for fear of reprisals from the restless natives lurking about waiting to pounce for some oddball reason.
But for $5 , it was worth it I know that's a little less than spot price, but I've been known to pay stupid prices for dumber things.

Well it's worth something as a colorfully toned MS-64 Morgan, but to me the colorful eye appeal outweighs the price of a relatively common date Morgan Dollar.
