ROBBERY




Harry Collins, owner, of the Gold and Silver Shop in Monroe, Louisiana was shot and killed Thursday during an armed robbery.

Monroe police confirmed he was shot in the torso.Police have limited information about the suspects, who are three black males.

The investigation is ongoing.

    We have an element of society that cares not for human life. They care less about themselves. Willing to serve a lifetime in a penitentiary or face execution for what, a months worth of spending money? Fact that three of them can be on the same page of evil and stupidity defies logic.

    The "criminal element" that lives within society never, ever considers the consequences of their acts since they can only see to satisfying their immediate and selfish needs.

    It is a sad state of affairs.
    I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    This is one of the main reasons I got out of storefront, just too damn dangerous. I miss the thrill of the neat stuff coming in, just like when I read smitty's new adventure, but then you see these type things and it makes you glad you stopped.

    I was nearly killed once, and about 5 min from being hit again(this time with my son in the store), when I called it quits.

    The shop nearest to me is 1/3 guns, 2/3 coins - sends a message, I guess.
