One more added to the collection recently. The 1809 XXX-edge. Shown here, and the rest of the AU58's.
Slow going. But having fun along the way.

They are all beauties. But I especially commend you on finding such a nice '07.

Guess I'll stick to examples similar to yours. There all nice, but the 1812 is my favorite of the group.
Which is your favorite and why?

Kidding but would really like to see you get the complete set someday. Your skills at imaging them would be a great boom to the hobby.
Keep 'em comin!
Took me about 20 minutes to look through all of those!

As soon as the envy wears off, I'll look again (lather, rinse, repeat!)
Both the 23's look UNC from my side of the monitor, my fave votes go out to the 1807 and 1811 (Just because I dig the early dates)...
WalkingLiberty, it's hard to pick out a favorite. It's like choosing your favorite daughter. Can't do it. But the early years are the difficult ones, along with the overdates. So those are a little more special to me. I recently lucked into the 1809. It's XXX-letter-edged. There are only a handful of them in 58. Before that I jumped on the 1824/4/2/1 I had been searching for a while. Dave Kahn came through again.
The 1807 is the CBH birth year and this is the so called 50/20 due to a blunder with the denomination. Turns out the punched-over 2 is really an upside-down 5. Oops. The 1818/7 large 8 I picked up at FUN this year. AU58WALKERS helped me with a few when he retired his set. The '21, '26 and '34.
Realone, the 1829 is not the only one missing. I am still looking for several more. I have most all of the rest in AU55. Maybe I should get them all regraded? Might get lucky.
Tibor, I started in earnest in 2008. Originally I just wanted a date set in AU. That morphed into a Redbook set, which grew to be a die marriage collection...a true sickness. Mozin sponsored me and I joined the Bust Half Nut Club last year (thank you!). Now I can be around other loonies.

This is truly impressive work, the result of scholarship and perseverance, Wow. Most of us can only dream of pulling this off! Congratulations and thanks for sharing it.

I used to own the 1824 Overdate - it's a fabulous coin and arguably mint state.
Nice going Lance!
Holy Cow!! Those are amazing. I see some MS coins in there, but maybe you don't want them MS? That first 1823 is about perfect!
<< <i>Simply beautiful set. Is that an obverse clash on the 1811? >>
Yes, and a nice crisp one. Flip the reverse and match them to see the outlines of eagle's wing, olive leaves and berries, arrow heads, and banner. The reverse is clashed too, with evidence in the usual areas.
This bust half made my heart skip when I saw it. It is more handsome in hand, and an R4. Ex-Pittman, CAC stickered.
The 1812 is magnificent.
Coins like these demonstrate well how some AU58's are more desirable, perhaps even more valuable, than mint state pieces with a technically higher grade.
I love the 1818, 1820, 1824, 1832, and the 1837........ shoot, they're all nice.
You're collecting them just like I would - high-grade AU that could be mistaken for nice BU examples. If you resubmitted them all, I'd be surprised if you didn't end up with a few MS grades. Clean, visually appealing, high-grade AU coins are the best deal in numismatics.
Nice photos too. Thanks for sharing.
