1938-D Jefferson MS67 w/TrueView

Here's a nice Jefferson, golden toned and extremely well struck on both sides. Trueview captured it pretty well but the hair details, which are fully struck, are actually better in person. Nice steps too, that little nick kept this one from MS67FS.

That step area under the 3rd pillar, if there's separation and there rarely is, what a shame because of the nick. A lot of you should know, there are several in FS holders that don't deserve the FS designation.

Does this also relate to other coins? The more square a rim is usually equates to a hammered strike?

I'm not obsessed with Full Steps like many are so the fact that it didn't get the FS designation means nothing to me. To me, your coin simply looks like a fantastic Jefferson Nickel, one you should be very proud to own.

An MS67 coin is not perfect, and with photos this size very small marks look huge, nice nickel.

Great coin...Jeff nickels don't get much nicer than this one.
