Are 1978D peg leg Ikes common? *PICS ADDED*

I was at DefCon in Las Vegas recently and as usual I was hitting cash cages for Ikes (friend collects em in any condition).
Over the few days I got 40 out of Hilton and noticed 26 of the 40 were abraded die peg leg types (yep kept em).
The Ikes stood out because most I get out of casinos are milled in the slot machines, but these appeared to be from a new bag (all were 1978D, no other dates or mint).
I believe the really tough one to find is the 1977D, but is the 1978D really this common or did the cash cage pay out better than the tables.
*Attached are a random sample of 5 of them with a closeup of the R*
Don't know why the scanner went to greyscale on this one

Bumped because adding images does not reset the timer.
Is it worth it to send these off to ANACS for grading and encapsulation?

Let me know if you want to get rid of one or two of them.
