I just bought a Libertas Americana

Well, not an original one. But at least it's an old copy.

It seems to me that I saw another bronzed lead specimen listed somewhere in the last six months or so, but I can't find it now. Does that ring any bells for anyone?

that cap seems way too small (or too far away) to be Miss Liberty's cap.

I agree. It looks like it was added as an afterthought.

I sold an electro that was similar to that one about 20 years ago after I purchased an example of the real thing.

I paid $20 for the electro, and sold it about three years later for $50.

The one I own in solid bronze cost me a bit more. image

I think it's safe to say that the one posted by jayboxx isn't bronzed lead. It sold in a recent ANR auction for $34,500.

Mine cost $13, shipped. I definitely like the ANR specimen better, but I don't know if I like it 2500x better... image
