Wrestling - 2005 Heritage autographs - Ric Flair

One of my favorite wrestling subsets is the 2005 Topps Heritage autographs. It consists of 17 cards. The Ric Flair card was never issued in the set, but several copies have surfaced over the years. It is said that Topps sent 100 of these cards to Flair to sign, but for some reason they never made it in the set. How these cards got into the market is a mystery.

I dont collect wrestling but find it very interesting to read about and view the cards. Thanks for posting.

Great cards Greg.

I thought there was some debate on whether the Flair was real or a reproduction. That is good to know that the cards were indeed created by Topps.

His card from the WCW/NWO set is incredibly hard to find too.

How did you acquire the Flair cards? Those are great. Didn't know topps even made his card for this set. One of the few topps wwe sets with on card autos. Very hard to find them in mint shape with colored borders. How tough were autos to pull?

Thanks for the compliments everyone. NHL - I bought the autograph cards raw and just hoped for the best. These cards are very condition sensitive. I was able to get 5 Flair cards from an ebay seller about two years ago. I had Flair sign 3 and kept two unsigned. I sold off one signed card, because Flair smeared the 16x. I have a few unopened boxes, but I'll save those for a rainy day. I can't stand those cards that have the sticker autographs. Here are a few more scans. I'm trying to get all 18 graded 8 or higher.
