ALL SUBS POPPED - ok status Anyone interested in piggybacking on a $10 blue flip PSA/DNA encapsulati

If you have particiapted in my submissions before, please read the highlighted areas - they are new requirements from the last round of submissions we've done!

I talked to PSA - and we've again been approved for our bulk rate price of $10 for items with a declared value of $250 or less as long as we can put together 500 items again. This submission is for cards/cuts/index cards that'll fit into their tall boy holders (3 1/2" x 5 1/ 6" MAXIMUM SIZE ALLOWED FOR THE SUBMISSION). THIS IS A BLUE FLIP SUBMISSION.

To cover shipping/insurance/etc you will be responsible for $11.25 per item that you submit. You will also be responsible for shipping your item to me, then exact return shipping once we get the submission back.

Here is a link to the previous submission I did - which also has links from there to the other 5 or 6 submissions I've done.

Previous Bulk Submission

I once again was told they will honor the pricing as a one-time courtesy since we did two successful ones last year. I cannot say how long we will be able to take advantage of this pricing, but hopefully we can plan on doing two of these a year...one in January/February and one towards the end of summer.

Two new requirements this go round.

1) PSA now requires ALL items to be in a Card Saver (or similar holder) when submitting. No toploaders/penny sleeves only will be allowed anymore. I can provide Card Savers if you don’t have access to any for $.20 a piece.

2) The $10 rate is for declared valued items of $250 or less. PSA in previous submissions has done the following chart for pricing for these submissions. If you have items that have an authentication fee of $50 or more please EXPECT the fee to be as follows when you make your payment to me.

If the authentication fee is less than $50 - the fee for the submission is $10

If the authentication fee is between $50 and $75 - the fee for the submission is $45

If the authentication fee is above $75 - there is no discount on the submission

Please post in this thread if you'd like to take part in the submission so it's easier for me to track. I don't need definitive numbers of items until you send me your package, but a rough estimate when you know would be nice to make sure we have enough items to qualify. Items can be sent now until February 1. I am out of town from January 17-25 - please DO NOT have your items arrive during this timeframe I need items in hand by February 6th - and would like to send the list of items to PSA by the 7th. After they’ve approved the rate on each individual item the package will be sent off and hopefully that can be done by February 11th.

Like last time this order will be split into three "submissions" to help make it easy on PSA. There will be two card/cut sized submissions and one index card sized submission. That is a new requirement by PSA to help make sure they are able to authenticate the items in order so I know what items belong to which members. You are free to send all items in at once - but if you have both cards and index cards you'll need to look in two different sections for the results. Last time we had poppage on this in 4 - 6 weeks image

What size is the cut Jeffrey? If it's one solitary one I've been able to squeeze one in on the other submissions as long as it isn't too drastic

I would like to submit 5-10 index cards however I have never done a group submission. Maybe some veterans could give me some advice. This sounds like a better deal than the ones they've been posting the past two months.

Just remembered I have this possible Edith Piaf letter/card.

Found and removed it from an old scrapbook that was owned by a WWII Vet.

On the page it was glued to there was an arrow pointing to it saying, "great show!"

Some spots on it that kinda look like lipstick. She wore a ton of it.

I don't know a lot about Piaf, but what I've researched since finding this suggests that this performance was the "jewel in her crown"

The signature is not consistent with her fan sigs, but seems consistent to her handwritten letters from the time.

Might let PSA have a look at this with this group sub.

I think this was shortly before her boyfriend, boxer Marcel Cerdan, died in a plane crash.

The bulk submissions we do are the lowest price I've ever seen allowed for a blue flip submission. I'm sure others would be happy to chime in, but if you're holding out for a better deal I don't think you'll find one (I may be wrong). But if you have specific questions on how/what to do please feel free to PM me.

That's a really cool piece! It looks like she has a $50 authentication fee so it'll be a $45 authentication for her, but I would bet PSA slabs it. That's really nice

So for clarity, there's really no maximum value we can submit. We really just get $5 off the authentication price regardless of value?
  • raiderguy10raiderguy10 Posts: 2,087 ✭✭✭
It's really based on authentication fee more than anything. Like stated in the OP is basically as follows:

Authentication fee < $50 is the normal $10 fee

Authentication fee Between $51 and $99 is $45

Authentication fee $100 or more is the normal price.

You get a $5 break (but also don't have to pay the additional $10 for a slab - so really a $15 break) on the $50 authentication fee individuals and a $30 break on the $75 authentication fee

  • Count me in in for 7.

All of my submissions will be index cards:
Don Burroughs (Rams/Eagles DB in the 60s)-also a friend of my late father
    Billy Cannon x 2
    Jim Plunkett
    Pete Dawkins

I am building a set of signed Heisman index cards and am 18 short at this time....I think this is a pretty cool set to put together. But it's getting tougher....especially the new guys. Looking for Bo forever it seems...still looking to buy others for this submission.
