Anyone have any thoughts on these cards? I bought one of those mini boxes
this morning at Wal-Mart on the way home from work. I didn't do too bad.
3 of the Dynamic Duos inserts, 2 of the Chrome inserts, 1 Debut Flashback,
and an auto of Emiliano Fruto. So not really a bad box. And only being 7
packs in the box too. I did notice one other thing, on the back of the cards
where the numbers are printed, they all use a bold font for the numbers.
But card #131 used a smaller font when it was printed. Not sure if #131
Matt Albers was printed at a different time, or someone put in the wrong
computer font when setting up the page to be printed.

Ya know Steve - this guy - 'she bangs, and she bangs.....'
That's one hell of a box!
I remember a few years ago, I did really good with Bowman Heritage and got all kinds of auto cards.
Not so lucky with Topps Heritage tho.
Good luck guys.
I'm only gonna afford THeritage this year.

His autographs have the same dynamic that Nomo's did for years - collectors from his home country want them badly.

<< <i>I bought a couple packs yesterday. I pulled this auto redemption card. I checked on ebay. Most are selling for less than $30. There is one with a day to go that is over $100. Is the redemption for a red auto or is the seller blowing smoke.
>>
Yeah, I saw the same thing you did, but notice how on his card, it said "Special Edition Autograph Of...". That means it's the red ink auto (/52). I had to ask earlier today too, because I pulled the same redemption you did in a pack I bought yesterday! I still haven't decided if I was gonna eBay it or keep it... His autograph looks good! I may pick up a couple of more boxes just for the heck of it, but I don't think that I will try and finish the set.

I was suprised to get 2 Mantles from the same box. I was also happy to pull a Reds auto.

I've been trying to put this set together, but have found the SP's to be ridiculous.
While I was looking at the sp's that I have managed to pull, I noticed the card of John Ford-Griffin is the same is the same as Anthony Lerew.
Anyone have any info on the cards? Who is the pic really of? Was it corrected?
CDsNuts, 1/9/15
Don't know, but that's some nice Photoshop work on the uniform.
I don't recall the same photo, used in the same set, with two different names ever done before.
Edited to put the pictures on the second page.

I have some SPs available from this set - they're on my page.
Lerew also had an autograph in the set, which uses the same picture. I would think Topps would have put the correct picture on the card to be autographed. It looks like a standard "Pitcher" pose, and if I remember correctly, Lerew is a pitcher and Griffin is a hitter. Great catch though - I can't believe that nobody has noticed this.
I played against John Ford in college and I don't remember him being so big. He was a beast at FSU, to bad he never really panned out.

And, he's still with the braves.

They took a picture of a guy changed his name and photoshoped a new jersey on him. The whole time the player that's actually pictured never changed teams at all.
I wonder if Lerew's ever seen this?
