You are correct I pulled a second auto in box 11. Here are scans from boxes 11 & 12.

Short break and I will be back with case 2.

The dice game kind of looks like a Strat-O-Matic card.

<< Geez, the base '61 Chase cards are 1 in 435 packs? >>

Looking like the goodies are really scarce AGAIN this year!

No stamps yet? I really like the GU color variation too. Very nice. Where are all the relics? Love the C Granderson pose!

From what I've seen of the refractors so far, I think they're really sharp looking. That Johan Santana is a great looking card.

It would be nice to see on of the advertised Hall of fame autos come out of this case.

Per an Ebay search, Peavy is suppose to be #56. Have you gotten a Peavy with that number. Often the checklist doesn't match up exactly by the time the cards come out. However I don't remember Mantle having a "base" card in previous sets.

Stoney, who is listed on the checklist as #56?

edit: my question was asked & answered by the time I could post. Why would they replace Peavy with Mantle? Why not a Yankee?

Yes the base series, but not Topps Heritage. My initial guess is they are doing some sort of 'B' version SP set, like in the base set. Would be cool if it was guys that were actually in the 61 set, but I'm also tired of these Super Short Prints....

#54 would have made more sense for the Mantle variation, unless there was some variation on the original 1961 #56 card.
